Santos began creating visual art in his early twenties, and employs a vast range of techniques from oil-based, acrylic, industrial and aerosol paints to avant-garde forms involving various forms of medium-applications. All of his pieces revolve around a keen eye for the emotive power of color.
Jhonattan Arango makes geometric, abstract murals and paper art using only triangles. He uses art as a voice to bridge gaps —to compose visual stories inspired by universal law and beauty. He achieves this by juxtaposing, highlighting, and playing with both the size and color of each triangle to create depth and anatomical accuracy, bringing attention to each individual piece as an important part of the whole.
Smooth Technology is a one-stop creative engineering and design shop in Brooklyn, New York. A combination of cutting-edge technology and artistic sensibility allows them to create interactive experiences that are accessible, impactful, and visually stunning. Their work has made appearances on some of the biggest stages on earth for pop stars like Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, and Taylor Swift to Google, Amazon and museums.
Jessica painted her first mural in 2012 and began building a portfolio as a mural and street artist. Her art is extremely illustrative and whimsical due to a soft spot for cartoons and trippy daydreams. She draws inspiration from pop-surrealism of the last 3 decades, as well as nature, and her experience as a woman. Her murals have been described as, “Deep and dreamy. As if you’ve been transported into some otherworldly setting.”
Input Output is a creative media lab comprised of Billy Baccam and Alex Ramos. They bring inanimate structures and spaces to life by combining art, science, technology, and architecture with the creative implementation of light and sound. Together, Billy and Alex formed Input Output to research, design, and develop immersive, digital-physical experiences that challenge the ideas of what reality is and what reality can be in the future.
As a south Louisiana native, John Rowland draws from memories of the natural beauty and function of his surroundings throughout his creative process. The art of movement and organic forms influence even stationary elements within his work. An Sculptor/Maker with a BFA from LSU, he works with many media including but not limited to wood, metal, foam, paint, and plastic to fabricate a piece. His fascination lies with the problem solving and craft required in making something from nothing.
From an early age, Amanda has had a creative fervor to make things using any material she could manipulate with her hands. Amanda is a multi-disciplinary artist that finds a way to portray her visions and voice through an array of different mediums. Her creations gravitate towards using boldness with simplicity.
Lorena is a Houston creator with a professional background in museum exhibit fabrication and installation. She is a self-taught polymath, whose current artistic focus revolves around digital art and light design. Some of her work can be seen in museums, music videos and on apparel.
Jessica Jill Guerra is a Houston-based fine artist and designer with a pure love of expressing beauty, from printmaking on lush paper and textiles, to painting outdoor civic and public art. Her work is recognized for its bold graphic florals, patterns, and inky woodcut impressions.
She took a humbling job sweeping floors at a fabrication shop for a large-scale live event production company and quickly found her artistic abilities were a perfect match for faux finishing. She moved from sweeper to painter for a project at Star Wars Launch Bay for Disney World, and soon after went on to be Lead Finisher for large events and installations such as NFL Draft 2017, Comedy Central: Stand Up Presents, and The Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Experience. Now, after a stint as a scenic for movie sets, she is excited to be a part of the talented team at Professional Scenic Services.
Aerica Raven is a multidisciplinary artist from the Midwest. Intricate illustration, narrative murals, and dynamic installations highlight her body of work. In 2019, she began making paintings described as “light dynamic”–using the physics of light and color, she examines the transience of inner peace and outer chaos.
